2018 Elections Information

In 2018 Rhode Islanders will vote for statewide offices: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Attorney General. State Senators and Assembly persons will also be elected. Elections will also be held for the Rhode Island congressional delegation including the two members of the House of Representatives and one Senate seat.

Here are the important dates for the 2018 election season:

Primary Election Day: February 27, 2018

General Election Day: April 3, 2018

Registration Deadline: August 12, 2018

Mail-in Ballot Deadline: August 21, 2018

Election Day: Wednesday, September 12, 2018

General Election

Registration Deadline: October 7, 2018

Mail-in Ballot Deadline: October 16, 2018

Election Day: Tuesday, November 6, 2018
