Membership
The League of Women Voters is always happy to welcome new members. The League of Women Voters in Rhode Island is an all volunteer organization that relies on members to study issues, come to consensus on positions, to advocate for what we believe in, and during election years to provide voter services which include voter registration, voter information, and debates. In these endeavors, we are supported by the League of Women Voters of the United State, and we in turn help support the national League on issues that they are working on.
Membership in the League is open to any citizen of the United States. Non-citizens may become associate members. Annual dues of $40. include automatic membership in State and National Leagues. If you wish to be a member of a local League, please consult our list of local Leagues and indicate which you would like to join when you send in your dues. All members are welcome to attend all National, State, and Local meetings.
